The type of personal information we collect.

We currently collect and process the following information:

  • your name, address, email address and telephone number so we can contact you about the services you have requested and respond to your enquiry.
  • When you place an order with us then we will use this information to process your order and address any customer service queries that you may raise with your order.
  • We may share your contact details (with your consent) with third parties to arrange an order or delivery.
  • We keep a record of your order, your contact details and the products you have ordered for 10 years, so that we can provide service and support for the lifetime of the product. This information is also used to help us develop our customer service and product range in the future.

 

 

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • When you make an enquiry about services that we can provide you with, such as a new kitchen or bathroom so that we can contact you or, undertake site surveys for the work that you requested from us.
  • To process your order and address any customer service queries that you may raise with us.
  • We may share your details with third party suppliers or delivery companies (with your consent) who we may contact on your behalf when fulfilling your order.
  • When undertaking the installation such as a kitchen and bathroom, we will share your details (with your consent) with our third-party contractors who undertake the installation.
  • We maintain a record of your contact information and order details for service and support during the lifetime of the product.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How we store your personal information

The personal information we have is held in a secure customer system, hosted in a UK Data Centre.

We also maintain paper copies of order details and invoices, and any associated written correspondence that we may have had with you.  This information is held in secure filing cabinets and a secure archive.

We keep your personal data, name, address and telephone number, for 10 years so that we can provide support for the lifetime of the product, and for our tax and accounting records.

We will then dispose of your information by permanently deleting the information from the system, and shredding any documents that we hold in a secure facility.

Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information for direct marketing.

Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
